POMPON APPLICATION / SAN JUAN CHAMULA, CHIAPAS

The pompoms are part of the clothing of the Tzotzil ethnic group of the Mayan region of Chiapas; men and women use them in hats, girdles, cotton, or to braid hair.

They were traditionally made of wool dyed with natural dyes. With the passage of time, this material was replaced by brightly colored synthetic threads, despite this the artisans of the region continue to preserve their customs.

Colors, Textures & Pre-Order

Our products are made in creative and productive collaboration with Mexican artisans. Their elaboration involves manual processes that generate variations in colors and textures. It is important to note that the actual color of the garment may vary from the color shown on the screen.

For products or variants that are available only on request (pre-order) we ask that 3 to 4 weeks of production be considered, in addition to the shipping time.
