Diva, Carla Fernández Casa de Moda's new collection, is a glamorous and emotional tribute to four musical icons who challenged the boundaries of fashion and identity: Juan Gabriel, Elvis, David Bowie, and Cher.
Divided into three acts —Bowie, then Cher, and finally the Juan Gabriel–Elvis encounter— the collection explores fashion as a tool for freedom and radical self-expression. The garments invite the wearer to create characters and invent universes, embodying fashion and the body with courage and femininity.
In this way, Diva celebrates queerness, feminism, drama, and glam. Far from being a didactic statement, the collection embraces fashion as a cultural and political manifesto—just like the visionary figures who inspired it.
