Experiences

Our store at Marsella 72 was created with the resolution to be a home for Mexico’s folk art. For this reason the third floor of our fashion house is a living space for promoting the arts of indigenous, mestizo and Afro-Mexican communities. This space holds workshops, conferences, demonstrations of artisan techniques and exchanges of ideas and actions about fashion as resistance and its creators.

It is indispensable for us that Casa Marsella 72, in addition to being a gallery, also be a space for exchange of knowledge and direct contact with the artisans with whom we collaborate. This is why we call it our “House of Fashion,” since it has various different living spaces: an exhibition area, the workshops and the terrace for video projection, dance, weaving and singing.
