The grinder is a utensil of Mexican cuisine with which chocolate or cocoa is beaten, this instrument helps the ingredients of the drink to be mixed homogeneously by means of carved rings that introduce oxygen at the same time that they originate a characteristic foam that contains a spiritual meaning according to the Mayans.
These pieces are made with aile wood carved manually and with the help of the lathe.Currently this technique is used in different accessories that go beyond the kitchen.
