This is a map of Mexico, made with the names of the Indigenous peoples who keep our cultural diversity alive. Sixty-eight Indigenous languages are spoken in our country. This richness distinguishes us and makes us a cultural powerhouse.

I created this map with the artist Pedro Reyes to also reflect on how arbitrary borders between countries are in the face of the historical, cultural, and linguistic continuity of the peoples who have inhabited this territory and Latin America for thousands of years.
