DRAWN THREAD / XOCHITLAN TODOS SANTOS, PUEBLA
The tradition of unraveling came to Mexico at the same time as the introduction of the railroad at the end of the 19th century, both indigenous and mestizos carried out this practice with the idea of recreating the world around them in textiles.
Unraveling consists of removing threads from the weft and generating a fabric with warp threads or with extra threads to the cloth canvas. This type of unraveling is characterized by not having knots, it is identical on the reverse and on the right.
Colors, Textures & Pre-Order
Our products are made in creative and productive collaboration with Mexican artisans. Their elaboration involves manual processes that generate variations in colors and textures. It is important to note that the actual color of the garment may vary from the color shown on the screen.
For products or variants that are available only on request (pre-order) we ask that 3 to 4 weeks of production be considered, in addition to the shipping time.
